We’re huge March Madness fans! It’s a holiday at our house. We also seem to find numerous teachable moments centered around our favorite sport. I’ve made a basketball themed packet for my Teacher’s Notebook Store and my Teacher Pay Teacher Store for $6 that I plan on using with my kindergarten class.

For my kindergarteners, I’m also combining Dr. Seuss and March Madness by having a book tournament with 16 Dr. Seuss books! I’ll post a picture later and share our winner later.
One of my favorite things to do, besides screaming my face off for the Jayhawks, is mapping out where all the colleges are from with the kids and learning about all the mascots.
