A Plants vs Zombies’ Themed Garden!

All 5 of us love the app “Plants vs Zombies”….so when it was time to plan our garden this year, it was obvious. We don’t want zombies eating our brains. We knew just what to do.

We took turns playing the game until our brains were gone and added to our brainstorming list of plants. I guess without brains, it was just storming. Maya was also inspired to go all artsy with it. I think she must have still had her brains.

We hugged John for making my raised garden box last year. I’m new to gardening, but thanks to John, I look legit.

Then we started our zombie doomsday prepping. We’re calling this the before picture. I promise you (and any zombies who may be reading this) that seeds have been planted. We water and talk to them daily, about zombie strategies.

Then, we did the next logical thing…we made zombie rocks to announce to the world (and any zombies scoping out our place) that we have a Plants vs Zombies Garden!

Visit this post once in awhile through the summer for more Plants vs Zombies Garden updates…if I still have my brains. Shelisa

  1. Found your blog through the weekly Kid’s co-op. This is so fun…my boys would love it! Thanks for the inspiration!

    • Hi Lorissa, Thanks! I’d love to hear how it turns out for you. It’s only my 2nd year gardening, so I’m sure hoping ours grows well…you know, to keep the zombies out;) Good Luck!

  2. This is such a great way to make gardening fun for the kids! I will be hoping you can all ward off any Zombie attacks! Then again, if certain plants/veggies don’t grow at least you have a great reason… the Zombies did it!! 🙂

    • Oh Liz, I love the way you think. My garden didn’t do so great last year. Now, thanks to you, I have a perfect excuse! “Well, they sure fought hard against those zombies…”

  3. This is awesome! Love the way you’ve made it into a family activity. I’ll definitely be back to check out what you’ve done with the garden.

By the way, I’m visiting from the Getting to Know You weekend bloghop.
