Yum. Donuts. Thank you Babycakes Machine of Magic. Don’t you just want to pop one of these beauties in your mouth? It gets better.

Mouth-watering, huh? Let me give you the recipe for these flakey spheres of delight.

When they are nice and warm from the Babycakes Machine of Magic, roll them in the ooey, gooey glaze of 1/4c melted butter, 1 & 1/3c cup powdered sugar, 1 tsp of vanilla, and 1 T hot water. Then throw them in that zip lock baggy by the oven and shake. Hold on…that’s not the powdered sugar bag….

IT’S MY GRATED SOAP from last night’s laundry soap making!! It took every ounce of my self control and what little maturity I have left to not serve these to my husband. Every ounce. I am a mess for making soap donuts. I am a mess for sharing it with you. I am a mess. –Shelisa
PS.
Teachable Moment Here? My mom is crazy. Has my mom served me soap before? Those pancakes last week were a little squishy in the middle. If you want a better, but related to donuts, learning opportunity, check out this post on two of our favorite things. Laura Numeroff books and donuts. This post is dedicated to the Pioneer Woman who also has a funny donut story. I just love her.
Go ahead. Make fun of me. I do it all the time. Leave a comment…
